My take is he doesn’t care about what people think anymore cause he knows he is aging and in the world of fashion where youth is so valued in MALE models, he knows he is not going to be able to sustain that kind of bankroll any longer when he is in his late thirties.There are so few male supermodels that are respected well into their older age after their ‘peak’ compared to that of countless women supermodels that are still getting jobs, brand deals, partnerships etc. Our man has the academic qualifications he can always go back to and re-enter the more normal job market when he wants - now it’s clear he just wants to milk as much money as he can with his body before he hits 40. His actual fashion deals have already been drying up. I get what you mean though because it’s strange to see someone with so much discipline and self respect / love do this but he is mentally very strong and goes for what he wants
